The website fimaster.com.br is operated by TiMo Midia Ltda., a private legal entity registered under CNPJ n.º 62.179.475/0001-44, with registered address at Rua Ana de Carvalho Silveira, n.º 287, Bairro Silveira, Belo Horizonte/MG, Brazil, CEP 31.140-440 (“TiMo Midia”, “we”, “us”).

By accessing or using Fimaster, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to this document in its entirety.


PART I — PRIVACY POLICY

1. Scope

This policy governs the processing of personal information of users in Canada in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), applicable provincial privacy legislation, and the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

2. Information we collect

  • Browsing data (automatic): IP address, browser type and version, operating system, pages visited, session duration, referring URL and cookie identifiers.
  • Contact information (voluntary): name and email address when you contact us through the contact form.
  • Advertising data: device identifiers and audience segments managed by Google Ad Manager and PubLinker.
  • Push notification data: device token collected via PushAlert exclusively with your prior express consent.

3. Why we collect it — PIPEDA's fair information principles

We follow PIPEDA’s ten fair information principles. Our purposes are:

  • Audience analytics and editorial content delivery;
  • Advertising personalisation through Google Ad Manager and PubLinker;
  • Sending push notifications with your explicit opt-in consent (PushAlert);
  • Responding to user inquiries;
  • Platform security and fraud prevention.

4. Your rights under PIPEDA

  • Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correction: challenge the accuracy and completeness of your information and have it amended;
  • Withdrawal of consent: withdraw consent at any time (subject to legal or contractual restrictions);
  • Complaint: lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at www.priv.gc.ca.

These providers process data under their own privacy policies and are contractually bound to handle your data securely. TiMo Midia is not responsible for the content of advertisements served by third-party programmatic networks.

7. International data transfers

Data processed by US-based providers is transferred under contractual safeguards that provide a level of protection consistent with PIPEDA’s requirements.

8. Data retention

Browsing data is retained for up to 12 months. Contact information is kept only as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected or to comply with legal obligations.

9. Security safeguards

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption and access controls to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss.

10. Cookies

We use first- and third-party cookies for site functionality, analytics and advertising. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. To opt out of behavioural advertising, visit optout.aboutads.info.

11. CASL — Electronic communications

We send commercial electronic messages (push notifications) only with your prior express consent as required by CASL. You may withdraw consent at any time by disabling push notifications in your browser or device settings.

PART II — TERMS OF USE

13. Acceptance

Accessing or using fimaster.com.br constitutes full acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and TiMo Midia Ltda.

14. Permitted use

The site is intended exclusively for informational consultation about financial products. You may share links to editorial content without modification, with attribution. Any other use requires prior written authorisation from TiMo Midia.

15. Intellectual property

All site content — including texts, comparison tables, graphics, logos, source code and editorial structure — is the exclusive property of TiMo Midia Ltda. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The following are strictly prohibited without prior written authorisation from TiMo Midia:

  • Reproducing, publishing or redistributing site content, in whole or in part;
  • Using scripts, bots, crawlers, scrapers or any automated tool to extract content or data (scraping);
  • Creating derivative databases from Fimaster content;
  • Using content to train artificial intelligence models without express authorisation.

Scraping and automated data extraction constitute copyright infringement and give rise to civil liability for damages. TiMo Midia will pursue all available legal remedies. Unauthorised computer access may additionally be prosecuted under Criminal Code of Canada, s. 342.1 (unauthorised use of computer).

16. Advertising responsibility

Fimaster displays programmatic advertisements from third-party networks including Google AdX, MCM and PubLinker. TiMo Midia is not responsible for the content, accuracy, legality or offers of advertisers. Users assume all risk from interactions with third-party advertising. Abusive or deceptive advertisements should be reported to [email protected].

17. Prohibited conduct

The following conduct is expressly prohibited, without prejudice to applicable civil and criminal liability:

  • DoS/DDoS attacks: any attempt to overload or disrupt Fimaster’s servers will be reported to law enforcement and may result in criminal prosecution under the Criminal Code of Canada, s. 342.1 and related provisions.
  • Unauthorised access (credential stuffing, brute force, vulnerability exploitation): constitutes an offence under Criminal Code of Canada, s. 342.1, punishable by imprisonment. Will be reported to authorities immediately.
  • Misleading redistribution of financial content: modifying or redistrubiting Fimaster content in a way that misleads users about financial products gives rise to civil liability for damages and may constitute fraud under Canadian law.
  • Automated data extraction (scraping): subjects the infringer to civil and criminal liability as described above.
  • Any other unlawful conduct under Canadian or applicable international law.

18. Abuse reporting

Use this channel to report privacy violations, illegal content, cyberattacks, or deceptive advertising. We commit to responding to all reports within 48 hours and taking appropriate action, including reporting to authorities when warranted.

19. Suspension of access and user blocking

TiMo Midia reserves the right to suspend, restrict or permanently block access by any user or IP address that violates these Terms, attacks the infrastructure, performs scraping or engages in abusive conduct. Blocking may be accompanied by formal legal notice and criminal complaint.

20. Limitation of liability

Fimaster content is strictly informational and educational. Nothing on this site constitutes financial advice, investment recommendation or credit offer. TiMo Midia does not guarantee the accuracy or currency of information. Users assume full responsibility for financial decisions made in reliance on site content. TiMo Midia will not be liable for direct, indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site.

21. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights afforded to Canadian users under PIPEDA or other applicable Canadian legislation.

22. Changes to these Terms

TiMo Midia may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified on the site. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
